Trump tells Microsoft to fire former Biden official Lisa Monaco
'It is my opinion that Microsoft should immediately terminate the employment of Lisa Monaco,' says president

WASHINGTON
US President Donald Trump urged Microsoft to reverse course and fire former Justice Department official Lisa Monaco, a repeated focus of the president's ire.
"Monaco has been shockingly hired as the President of Global Affairs for Microsoft, in a very senior role with access to Highly Sensitive Information. Monaco’s having that kind of access is unacceptable, and cannot be allowed to stand. She is a menace to U.S. National Security, especially given the major contracts that Microsoft has with the United States Government," Trump fumed on his proprietary Truth Social platform.
"It is my opinion that Microsoft should immediately terminate the employment of Lisa Monaco," he added.
Monaco served as deputy attorney general under former President Joe Biden, and was a homeland security aide to Barack Obama. Trump stripped Monaco of her security clearance in March, and has accused her of illicitly using an "autopen" to forge Biden's signature on official documents.
"We’re moving murderers out of our country that were put here by Biden or the autopen. The auto pen really did it. I mean, the people — whether it’s Lisa Monaco or whoever operated the autopen — these are criminals," Trump said in June.
