Russian, Iranian presidents discuss bilateral relations, joint infrastructure projects
Vladimir Putin, Ebrahim Raisi agree to maintain further contacts, says Kremlin
ISTANBUL
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday spoke over the phone with his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi and discussed bilateral relations and joint infrastructure projects.
"Both sides gave a positive assessment of the level and dynamics of development of Russian-Iranian relations. Issues of bilateral cooperation in various fields, including the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, were discussed," a Kremlin statement said.
Both Putin and Raisi agreed to maintain further contacts in the future, the statement added.
