The Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council will meet on Monday in Brussels where energy ministers from 28 member states will discuss four legislative files under the clean energy package.

- Directive on the promotion of energy from renewable sources
- Directive on common rules for the internal electricity market
- Regulation on the internal electricity market
The ministers’ goal is to agree on a general approach for each of the files to allow the start of negotiations with the European Parliament under the co-decision legislative procedure.
A European Union (EU) Agricultural Outlook conference will take place in Brussels on Monday and Tuesday to discuss the future of agriculture in Europe and the challenges ahead. Discussions will focus on the modernization and simplification of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). Participants will include EU institutions, governments and international organizations, those involved in the food supply chain, market experts, academics, think tanks, and civil society.
