The European Union will provide a total of €112 million ($121.14 million) in funding for 12 low-carbon energy projects under the 2018-2020 Horizon 2020 Work Program, the European Commission announced in a statement last week.
According to the announcement, the projects will be selected for funding in a single-stage evaluation.
The announcement specifies Sept. 1, 2020 as the deadline for proposal submission.
Applicants have to submit their proposal electronically on the Funding opportunities portal.
Some of the projects titles are: -
· Geological Storage Pilots
· Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) aspects of the Clean-Energy Transition
· International cooperation for Research and Innovation on advanced biofuels and alternative renewable fuels
· Low carbon industrial production
Applicants of the submitted proposals, which will be evaluated by independent experts drawn from the European Commission's database of external evaluators, will receive the evaluation results at the latest five months after the submission deadline
