The Danish government announced plans Wednesday to build a massive wind power park with a total 800 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity.
According to local media, the park would be the biggest in the country if the government's plan goes ahead.
The park will be located far offshore – at least 50 kilometers away from land and is set to have a capacity to power around seven of the biggest cities in the country.
In order to reach this high capacity, the project requires about 50-75 massive wind turbines standing 250 meters high.
Currently, the country has already planned for a large 600 MW wind energy park, the Kriegers Flak project, whose completion is expected by 2021.
