Turkey's daily electricity consumption decreased by 0.45% to 759,941 megawatt-hours on Thursday, according to official figures of Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Friday.
Hourly power consumption peaked at 19.00 local time with 36,842 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed.
The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest daily point of 26,259 megawatt-hours at 05.00 local time.
Electricity production totaled 765,661 megawatt-hours on Thursday, marking a 0.39% decrease compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from coal imports totaling 203,874 megawatt-hours. Natural gas and lignite followed with 150,445 megawatt-hours and 138,544 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Thursday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 8,584 megawatt-hours, while imports reached 2,864 megawatt-hours.
