ALEPPO (AA) - July 24, 2012 - Syrians who are escaping from the severe violence in Aleppo city centre are heading to nearby towns and villages.

AA has been covering all the incidents which shape the history of Syria. 
Some of the official military units are still controlling the transit points in towns near Aleppo.
Almost three days ago, opponents started controlling most of the towns nearby Aleppo. Escapee civilians are waiting for life to become normalised.  
People who escape from the city centre, head to towns and villages nearby Aleppo.
Mosques, schools and hospitals became unusable because of the previous attacks of the Syrian army.
As well as frequent power and water cuts, people struggle to find food and nutrition.
According to information received from opponents in Aleppo that the number of armed opponents in the Aleppo region is about five thousand. 
They state that the number rises at night time by the attendance of supportive groups from nearby regions.
On Monday night, during the ongoing conflicts, Syrian opponents captured a few more neighbourhoods and destroyed several tanks.
