Dozens hurt as earthquake rocks Iranian city
People injured in earthquake in northeastern Iran
TEHRAN
At least 35 people have been injured after a magnitude-5.2 earthquake shook the city of Kashmar in Iran.
The Seismological Center of Institute of Geophysics at Tehran University said the epicenter of the quake in the eastern province of Razavi Khorasan was 10 kilometers below the Earth’s surface.
More than 80,000 people are estimated to live in Kashmar.
