ALEPPO, Syria
At least 27 people have been killed in operations allegedly carried out in Aleppo by President Bashar al-Assad's regime forces, Syrian opposition activists have claimed.
Assad regime’s forces launched attacks with heavy machine guns on several spots in the city on Monday, claimed the Syrian Network for Human Rights, a London-based human rights group.
Meanwhile, Ebu Samir, a field hospital doctor in Homs, claimed that hundreds of people were affected by a series of barrel bomb attacks conducted by a regime helicopter in the city of Kafr Zeta on Saturday.
The bombs, which were filled with chlorine gas, affected the eyes of hundreds of victims and caused vomiting, Ebu told Anadolu Agency.
Samir said many of the patients continued to suffer tightness of the chest and visual impairment.
