46 killed by Assad’s forces in Syria

DAMASCUS 

Forces loyal to the Syrian President Bashar Assad used heavy weapons in their operations against opponents in various cities on Thursday killing 46 people including 4 children and 2 women.

In a statement, Syria National Human Rights Watchdog (SNHR) said the regime forces staged air attacks on the opposition controlled areas and killed 13 people in Aleppo, 10 in Homs, 9 at the suburbs of Damascus, 8 in Dera, 4 in Idlib, and one in each Deru’z Zor and Ar-Raqqah.

Furthermore, regime forces have also carried out air attacks with fighter jets to Osman Bin Affan Mosque in Deru’z Zor province, and the mosque has been heavily damaged, according to the statement.

Syrian army helicopters dropped several barrel bombs on Dara'a Nawa region during the attacks and many buildings were either damaged or demolished.

The regime forces have staged air attacks on the opposition controlled areas in Hama, Aleppo, Damacus, Homs, and Idlib demolishing many buildings.

Meanwhile, Syria's state-run SANA news agency reported that security forces killed members of armed groups and destroyed their vehicles in different provinces in Syria.
