ANKARA
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu held phone conversations with his foreign counterparts on Saturday regarding the downing of a Turkish military jet by Syria.
Diplomatic officials said that Davutoglu had phone conversations with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, British Secretary of State for Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs William Jefferson Hague, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, Russia Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and Saudi Arabia's FM Saud al-Faysal bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud.
Davutoglu also had conversations with Arab League Secretary General Nabil al-Arabi and Catherine Ashton, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
Davutoglu briefed them about Turkey's evaluation of the incident.
