Prime Minister Irsen Kucuk of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) received European Commissioner for enlargement Stefan Fule in Lefkosa on Wednesday.

No statement was released after the meeting.
Fule later met main opposition Republican Turkish Party (CTP) leader Ozkan Yorgancioglu and visited Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce.
Earlier on Wednesday, President Dervis Eroglu received Fule. 
Stefan Fule will also attend inauguration of "Bandabulya", a municipal market, in Lefkosa, which has been restored within the scope of a United Nations Development Program project, and then hold a press conference.
Fule is visiting Cyprus as the Greek Cypriot administration will take over the rotating presidency of the European Union (EU) on July 1.
