The World Health Organization (WHO) portrayed Turkey model country in the area of health.
Turkish Health Ministry officials told AA correspondent that Health Minister Recep Akdag, WHO Director-General Margaret Chan, WHO Regional Director for Europe Zsuzsanna Jakab, and representatives from several countries attended the 65th session of the World Health Assembly in Geneva.
A meeting on the health reform in Turkey took place within the scope of the World Health Assembly.
WHO Director-General Chan said that Turkey was a good example to the world with its successful reforms in the health system.
