Turkey’s interim cabinet announced on Friday will hold its first meeting on Tuesday, sources from the Prime Ministry said.

The sources told Anadolu Agency on Sunday that the meeting would be held on Tuesday, 12:00 local time (0900 GMT) at Cankaya Palace.

They added that the cabinet members would visit Anitkabir, the mausoleum of the founder of Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, prior to the meeting.

Turkish political parties failed to form a coalition government following the June 7 general election. This forced Turkey to form an interim government, with the aim of ushering the country to renewed voting on Nov. 1.
