Syrian regime forces killed 175 armed militants in an ambush in south of the Syrian capital, Damascus, on Wednesday.

Syrian Arab news agency SANA reported that the armed militants killed in the attack in the eastern district of Ghouta were from the al-Islam Brigade, affiliated with Nusra Front and Islamic Front.

SANA published 12 photos of the militants, who were from Qatar, Chechnya and Saudi Arabia.
