15 red cards shown in Turkish amateur league match

MANISA, Turkey

A brawl during the final mınutes of a Turkish amateur league match in the western province of Manisa led to 15 players being shown red cards Sunday.

The incident occurred after a foul near the end of the game between Yagcilar and Hamzabeyli. 

After rows broke out between the opposing players, tempers quıckly became frayed.

The match degenerated into an all-out brawl.

Turkish referee Yasin Saygili brandished 15 red cards -- seven for Yagcilar players and eight for Hamzabeyli -- and abandoned the match.

Yagcilar had been leading 1-0.
