Turkey to host Brazil in Istanbul Wednesday
Turkey and Brazil will face each other in Istanbul after a 58-year break.

ANKARA
Turkey’s national football team will host the South American giants Brazil in a friendly match Wednesday in Istanbul.
The game will be played at the Fenerbahce Sukru Saracoglu Stadium at 20:30 local time in Turkey, or 1830 GMT.
Uzbek Ravshan Irmatov will be the referee. He will be assisted by two linesmen Abdukhamidullo Rasulov and Jakhongi Saidov.
In addition, Turkish referee Halis Ozkahya will be the fourth official.
Turkey and Brazil will play in Istanbul after a 58-year break. The last match between the two sides in the city was played in 1956 at Inonu Stadium, which the visitors Brazil won 1-0.
Before the match, the Turkish team has been battling with injury problems of Gokhan Gonul, Semih Kaya, Gokhan Tore, Volkan Demirel and Mustafa Pektemek.
Turkey and Brazil will meet for the sixth time in their history. Brazil were victorious in three matches out of five and two games ended as a draw. Turkey are yet to win a match against Brazil.
Brazil scored six goals against Turkey, while Turkish team managed to find the net only three times.
