Football preview: Derby fever in Turkish Super League
Besiktas and Fenerbahce face off Sunday
ANKARA
The Turkish Spor Toto Super League will feature the derby between Istanbulite rivals Besiktas and Fenerbahce on Sunday.
Besiktas midfielders Veli Kavlak and Tolgay Arslan will be unavailable due to injuries, likewise for Fenerbahce's new signing Danish center-back Simon Kjaer and their Brazilian defensive midfielder Josef de Souza.
Fenerbahce lead the league with 13 points. Besiktas follow in second position, 3 points behind as of Week 5.
The derby in Besiktas home Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul will kick off at 7 p.m. (1600GMT) on Sunday.
Defending Super League champions Galatasaray host Gaziantepspor at Turk Telekom Arena on Saturday.
This season Galatasaray have yet to win a league match at home and find themselves in eighth place with 8 points.
The match between Galatasaray and Gaziantepspor will start at 7 p.m. (1600GMT) on Saturday.
