Turkey: Aselsan inks deal with Turkish defense ministry
Contract is for the supply of a Tactical Area Communications System
ISTANBUL
Turkish defense company Aselsan signed an agreement worth $186 million with the Ministry of Defense, according to a stock exchange filing on Tuesday.
The contract is for the supply of a Tactical Area Communications System (TASMUS).
Aselsan is the largest of Turkey's defense companies.
In the last "Defense News Top 100" ranking, released on July 27, Aselsan, with annual revenue of over $1.14 billion, ranked 62nd of the top 100 companies, a ranking five places higher than that of the previous year.
