Russian troops enter eastern Ukraine: NATO Commander

NATO Supreme Allied Commander in Europe Gen. Philip Breedlove said Wednesday that Russian troops had entered eastern Ukraine.

Breedlove announced that during the last two days the entrance of Russian troops, tanks, artillery and air defense systems had poured into the country. 

Breedlove did not provide details on the numbers of Russian forces and equipment, but he did say that there was a considerable force. 

The NATO commander also said that he was concerned about how the Ukrainian border with Russia is now "wide open.".
