Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA) about the developments in Egypt, Bagis reminded they had been warning the West since the beginning of the events, and added, "It is not possible to expect legitimate ways from those who toppled an elected administration by illegitimate ways."
Emphasizing that the "barbaric events" in Egypt were clearly a "massacre", Bagis said, "Turkey is against massacre today as it has always been. Even if it remains alone, Turkey will not change this stance. Since the beginning we have warned the West, first and foremost the EU. Today, I am sure that they also have seen the rightfulness of those warnings, at least we hope so. Everybody must be careful against the efforts to drag the Muslim Brotherhood into chain of violence. The Muslim Brotherhood would never be deceived by this game."
