BAGHDAD

The number of casualties rose to 21 and wounded individuals to 58 in bomb attacks staged in Baghdad with six separate vehicles on Monday.
Sources told the Anadolu Agency (AA) that the number of casualties may rise.
Today's attacks took place amid tight security measures ahead of Saturday's local elections.

Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned terrorist attacks staged in many regions of Iraq

The ministry stated on Monday that over 30 people had been killed in the attacks which were staged in Baghdad, Kirkuk, Tuz Khurmatu and Nasiriyah, while more than 200 people were wounded which caused sorrow in Turkey.

The attacks aim to create a chaos ahead of the local elections which will take place on April 20 in Iraq, said the ministry.
