ANKARA
Trabzonspor lost to their Polish opponents Legia Warsaw by 2-0 in the Europa League match at Wojska Polskiego Stadium in Warsaw on Thursday night.
Visitor Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Fatih Ozturk scored an own goal in the first half, and Legia took the lead. Portuguese forward Orlando Sa sealed the victory by scoring second goal for his team Legia Warsaw in the 56th minute.
Trabzonspor's Turkish midfielder Mehmet Ekici was sent off in the injury time after making a hard tackle on his opponent.
Trabzonspor managed to advance to the knockout stage in Europa League, despite losing against the group leader Legia Warsaw.
