ISTANBUL
Five Turkish citizens are detained and are being questioned by police about the murder of a Serbian basketball fan in Istanbul last Friday.
The 25 year-old fan, Marko Ivkovic, was stabbed to death in the chest outside Abdi Ipekci Arena before a game between his team Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade and the Turkish Galatasaray Liv Hospital.
The Serbian club was playing a Turkish Airlines Euroleague match -- in the pan-European basketball organization that manages the continent's two premier men's basketball competitions, the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and the Eurocup.
