The fourth week of the English Premier League ended on Monday night with a draw for West Ham playing away to Hull City.

The 2-2 draw was played out yesterday night. Scorers for Hull City were Abel Hernandez and Mohamed Diame whereas Enner Valencia found the net for West Ham in a match which saw Hull City defender Curtis Davies put the ball into his own net.

Arsenal were close to defeating reigning domestic league winners Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday before City’s Argentine defender Martin Demichelis' equalizer in the 83rd minute left the final score at 2-2. Scorers for Arsenal were English central midfielder Jack Wilshere and Chilean explosive forward Alexis Sanchez. City's other goal was scored by Argentine regular Sergio Aguero.

Chelsea maintained their undefeated run by winning against Swansea City 4-2 at Stamford Bridge the same day. The Blues’ Spanish striker Diego Costa's hat-trick brought glory for Chelsea. In addition, the London club's recent signing, French forward Loic Remy, scored on his debut. Swansea's two goals were scored by Chelsea defender John Terry (own goal) and Jonjo Shelvey. With Chelsea winning four matches out of four this season, the Blues are on fire.

In the meantime Liverpool were stunned by Aston Villa 1-0 at Anfield. Villa wing forward Gabriel Agbonlahor's early goal was enough for the win against the Reds, taking the Birmingham to second place in the English Premier League.

Manchester United finally won after a three-week break. The Red Devils hit Queens Park Rangers 4-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday. United’s summer signings, Argentine winger Angel Di Maria and Spanish attacking midfielder Ander Herrera, scored whereas the other two goals were scored by English skipper Wayne Rooney and Spain's Juan Mata.
