Porto sign Algerian international
Portuguese club buys midfielder Yacine Brahimi for €6.5 million.
Portuguese Premier League club Porto signed Algerian midfielder Yacine Brahimi from Spanish side Granada for a fee of €6.5 (US$8.5) million on Wednesday.
According to a statement from Porto, 24-year-old Brahimi signed a five-year contract with the club with a minimum release clause of €50 million.
Capped nine times for Algeria so far, Porto's new arrival played for his country the recent World Cup.
Brahimi has also played for French clubs, Rennes and Clermont Foot.
