Tunisian Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa will head to Paris on Monday for his first visit to France since assuming office in January.
Jomaa's two-day visit comes at the invitation of his French counterpart, Manuel Valls, according to a Wednesday statement by the Tunisian government.
"The visit [by Jomaa] is a proper chance to reaffirm the strength of deep-rooted relations between Tunisia and France, as well as their mutual desire to boost cooperation in all fields," the statement read.
