DAMASCUS

Twenty-five people were killed and many others were injured on Wednesday when a roadside landmine went off in the city of Daraa, southwestern Syria.

A bus struck a landmine in the city while carrying out passengers, according Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC).

Children and women were among the those killed in the blast.

The opposition forces blamed Assad regime for the attack.

More than 100,000 people have been killed in the two and a half year conflict, according to the United Nations (UN), while over two million people have fled the country.
