Iran expressed hope for Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood's (Ikhwan) acceeding once again.

Having condemned the recent coup d'etat in Egypt, several Iranian officials expressed their hopes and demands on Muslim Brotherhood's acceeding again. Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian stated it was a neccessity to pay attention to Egyptian democracy process, to protect the revolution's acquisitons and to escape from militarism, according to ISNA news agency.

Besides, Chairman for the Committee for Foreign Policy and National Security of Iranian Assembly, Alaeddin Boroujerdi said, "Muslim Brotherhood should get its place on the Egyptian stage with more attentive and precautious movements."

He reminded that the army, which seized control of power in Egypt, had promised for early elections, saying Ikhwans needed to get into dialogue with the army.

"It may not be possible for Morsi to acceed again, however the Ikhwans should take part in Egypt's political future by being more precautious and expressing itself better," Boroujerdi added.
