Syrian regime must give up power

LONDON

British Prime Minister David Cameron said that the Syrian regime had to give up power in the current process.
Speaking to reporters after a tete-a-tete meeting with the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in London on Friday, Cameron said that he was pleased to host Prime Minister Erdogan.
Relations between Turkey and Britain have always been strong and, as the British Prime Minister, I attach importance to such relations, Cameron underlined.
Turkey was one of the first countries I visited as the British Prime Minister, Cameron indicated.
The trade volume between Turkey and Britain has risen immensely. Relations between Turkey and Britain are good in not just the economic field but others as well, Cameron said.
We have a strong political relationship with Turkey. We have always supported Turkey's EU bid. We want to see important progress in Turkey's EU process, Cameron stated.
The most important item of discussion today was the terrible incidents in Syria, Cameron noted.
We have serious concerns on Syria, Cameron stressed.
Our concerns on Syria continue, Cameron indicated.
We are deeply concerned by the possibility that the Syrian regime may take very dangerous and terrible steps in Aleppo. Surely, what may happen in Aleppo would not be accepted, Cameron said.
The Syrian regime's steps in Aleppo would not be legitimate, Cameron underlined.
In such a process, the Syrian regime needs to give up power. We will continue international pressure on Syria so the present regime there ends, Cameron also said.
