Rabia sign now a global sign of saying no to injustice: PM Erdogan

ANKARA

Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Egypt issue was not only about our Egyptian brothers, but also about humanity. Erdogan added, " Rabia sign is not only a sign of the right case of Egyptians, but also a sign of saying no to injustices, suppressions, crackdowns, massacres and coup in all over the world."

Erdogan spoke at the closing of Justice and Development (AK) Party's 21st Consultation and Evaluation meeting on Sunday, and said Turkey would continue to support only the "right" ones across the world regardless of people's faith, ethnicity, language, color and religion.

"We cannot be impartial and those who are impartial are eliminated. Turkey always takes place on the side of the right one and will continue to do it. As I said many times before, if the people, whose votes were regarded and who were imposed coup, had been the ones in Tahrir Square, Turkey would also have supported them without hesitation", said the prime minister.

In addition, Erdogan said more than 130,000 people died during clashes lasting for two years in Syria and over seven million people had to leave their homes.

"Over 600,000 Syrian refugees sheltered in Turkey. Those who left their hometowns and stayed in Syria amid the turmoil are having great sorrow", saidErdogan, adding Turkey would not remain silent against violent acts in Syria.

Erdogan also said that Turkey would not be on side of cruelty.
