Speaking at the B20 Azerbaijan Regional Consultation Forum, Abdullayev also took the opportunity to sign a protocol agreement for strategic cooperation with Rifat Hisarcilkioglu, the president of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, TOBB.

Meanwhile, also at the forum, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan said Tuesday the trade volume between Turkey and Azerbaijan had surpassed $5 billion in 2014.

"We now aim $15 billion in trade by 2023," he said.
