Anadolu Agency to train 30 new war correspondents
Agency, in cooperation with the Turkish Police Academy, will offer training on a variety of journalistic and survival techniques.
ANKARA
The Anadolu Agency in cooperation with the Turkish Police Academy plans to train 30 new war correspondents.
Students will first study news writing, photography and video transmission before taking a course on survival in hostile environments.
The trainees will attend lectures on terrorism and violence, dealing with asylym seekers, working in refugee camps, and war photojournalism. The students will also study water survival, risk analysis, self defense, ballistic weapons, kidnapping, explosives and booby traps, and other similar topics.
During the course, internationally recognized photojournalists and video cameramen will offer training.
At the end of the conference will the students will receive an international certificate from AA.
