On strike since May 15 due to disagreement with Turkish Airlines (THY) administration, the Hava-Is Union of airlines workers announced on Thursday that they signed the 24th term collective agreement after a series of talks with Turkish Airlines.

Releasing a statement, the Hava-Is Union said the talks between their executive board and THY administration came to a consensus which resulted in the signing of the collective agreement spanning the period of January 1, 2013 - December 31, 2015.

The head of the Hava-Is Union Ali Kemal Tatlibal commented on the agreement, saying all 305 workers of Turkish Airlines, who had been on strike and had their labor contracts cancelled, could come back to work thanks to the collective agreement they signed.

He also added that they would make a detailed statement on Monday.
