In the program held at AAtölye under the coordination of AA Academy, Uğurlu shared his success story and the turning points in his life that could serve as inspiration.
Expressing that people appreciate his use of instruments such as the bağlama, qanun, rebab, and kaval despite having a classical music education, Uğurlu said, "My perspective on the world is that nothing can be universal unless it is rooted in the local."
Describing artists as “ants seeking the unknown” Uğurlu said “They probe the unseen, knock on doors, try to open them. They draw inspiration from a single word and open up an ocean — both for themselves and their art. Of course, talent flourishes with appreciation. The more you're recognized, the more inspiration comes to you.”
Uğurlu stated that the duty of music is to distance people from the chaos of life, guiding them toward unity with the universe and the Creator by listening to their inner harmony. He described music as a tool that clears and cleans all the thorns in a person’s path.
After the talk, Uğurlu answered questions from the audience.
