Training for Anadolu Agency employees was held in Istanbul on July 3 and in Ankara on July 9.
The training aimed to ensure that video transcripts, captions, and narration texts in the video news production process are prepared completely, quickly, and accurately in terms of content. It also aimed to reduce the error rate in Turkish broadcasts, strengthen the coherence between visuals and news content, and establish a standardized language for both domestic and international content.
The training was delivered by Video News Manager Anıl Bağrık, Türkiye Foreign News Correspondent Nuri Aydın, and Türkiye Foreign News Correspondent Aynur Şeyma Asan.
The training covered a variety of topics, primarily including the accurate identification of people, places, and events in footage, synchronized transcription with time codes, and ensuring visual-text coherence.
At the end of the session, participants’ questions were answered.
