AA will award research scholarships to help master’s and PhD students gain experience in their fields by contributing to their academic and professional development and career planning, as well as to strengthen AA's presence in the academic sphere.

Under this program, scholarships will be provided for two semesters for master’s programs and four semesters for PhD programs, valid during the thesis period, to support master’s and PhD theses focused on AA.

Applicants will be required to submit academic reference letters

Applications for master’s programs will be accepted only from within Türkiye, while applications for PhD programs will be accepted from domestic and international applicants.

During the application process, candidates must submit two academic reference letters, proof of enrollment in a master’s or PhD program, a thesis proposal form, and a statement of purpose. They must also have achieved a score of at least 80 on the YDS or at least 90 on the TOEFL within the last five years.

A scholarship of 12,500 lira will be awarded for master’s programs, and 25,000 lira for PhD programs. Scholarships will be paid throughout the thesis period.

Theses written under the AA Research Scholarships program may be published by AA Publications following an evaluation of their suitability for publication.

The scholarship will be revoked if the thesis is not completed within the specified timeframe, if the student puts their enrollment on hold, is drafted into military service, is suspended, or if the thesis topic is not related to AA.

In the event of revocation, the amount paid will be reclaimed, including adjustments for inflation.

Applications, which began on July 23, will continue until October 10.
