Speaking at the closing ceremony of the NJ 101 training held at the Frig Hall of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Anadolu University Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel said that as a university, they wanted to introduce students to the industry as early as possible in all areas.

Adıgüzel stated that their vision is to bring all faculties together with leading companies and representatives of their respective sectors in every field and to combine the sector's experience with academia immediately. "Anadolu Ajansı is a prestigious institution in Türkiye. It is an important institution that shares its journalism expertise with thousands of people in dozens of countries under the Turkish flag. You, as ‘news academy graduates,’ have now completed your program here after four days. Anadolu Ajansı should be one of the most important institutions for your future careers. It would be good if our fourth-year students also set their sights on the Anadolu Ajansı as an important institution for internships."

“I would like to thank Anadolu Ajansı for this wonderful and powerful collaboration.”

Noting that participation in Anadolu Ajansı’s “New Journalism 101” training was at a high level, Adıgüzel said:

"By fully participating in all the training sessions, you have truly demonstrated how committed you are to this work. May your path be clear from now on. I wholeheartedly believe that you will become journalists who will convey all the good work and developments in Türkiye and around the world to the public most accurately and fairly. Journalism is also a labor of love. What we do is based on the principle of volunteering. No one can force you to do this because it's not a class. By attending all the training sessions without fail for four days, you have shown how much you love this work and that you will continue to work hard. I congratulate you all. I say, ‘May it be auspicious.’ I believe we will always see you in good places in the industry. I also thank Anadolu Ajansı for this wonderful and strong collaboration."

AA Academy Manager Dr. Zeynep Bayramoğlu Öztürk stated that the “New Journalism 101” training was a wonderful collaboration and described it as an exciting program for them.

Öztürk said that NJ 101 is a new generation journalism training program, adding, “It is a very fulfilling program that includes artificial intelligence and data security. We have completed four days. Thank you very much for your participation. Life is a long journey, but we may also have brief encounters. I hope to see you again in the industry as journalists.”

Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences and Advisor to the Rector, Prof. Dr. Barış Kılınç, also emphasized that the training completed over the 4-day period was a great opportunity for students.

At the closing ceremony attended by academics and students, Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel presented a tree donation certificate to AA Academy Manager Dr. Zeynep Bayramoğlu Öztürk.
