Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Arif Verimli met with employees during a training session held at the AA Istanbul International News Center.
During the training, Verimli stated that thoughts about the future cause serious concern, while events from the past cause unhappiness.
In the training, Verimli also touched upon the differences and connections between worry, concern, and anxiety.

In their research, Verimli emphasized that they observed people were unable to express their anxiety and worry, and therefore used phrases such as “My hands and feet are numb” or “I'm having trouble breathing.”
In the training, Verimli pointed out that the main stress comes from being under pressure.

Verimli stated that the world's approximately 8.5 billion people can be divided into 10 different personality types, emphasizing that it is important to use this difference in stress management, saying, “Personality differences are the capital that determines how we respond to stress.”
Verimli also taught employees breathing exercises that are useful for stress management.
The training ended after a question and answer session.
