The closing and certificate ceremony for the program—organized under the coordination of AA, with the support of the European Union (EU) and the Turkish National Agency, and with contributions from Ankara University's National Research Center for Maritime Law, Station de Jeunesse from France, the POLIS Institute from North Macedonia, EDITURA ERUYSAL SRL from Romania, and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA)— was held at AAtölye.
Speaking at the ceremony, AA Academy Manager Dr. Zeynep Bayramoğlu Öztürk stated that the third training program had been successfully completed today, noting that over the past few days, participants had the opportunity to think, create, and gain hands-on experience together on extremely important topics such as climate journalism, digital media, ethical publishing, and access to reliable information.

Öztürk, noting that the program—organized with contributions from participants from Türkiye, France, North Macedonia, and Romania—was not merely an educational process but was actually viewed as a platform for intercultural interaction, expressed her belief that the ideas, conversations, and shared experiences emerging from this process would yield highly valuable results in the long term.
Drawing attention to the fact that the climate crisis is now one of the most critical global issues not only for the future but also for the present, Öztürk said, “For this reason, the accurate, ethical, and solution-oriented approach of young communicators and journalists working in the media field is of great importance. We place importance on this. Above all, we are also aware of the importance of using the correct terminology.”
Emphasizing that AA will continue to contribute to environmental and climate news, Öztürk thanked everyone who contributed to the program.
“The world is actually very small, we are all in the same boat”
Hür Güldü, Partnerships Coordinator at the Turkish National Agency, also provided information about the Agency.
Noting that the Agency was established in 2004, Güldü explained that it is the body responsible for implementing the Erasmus+ Program in Türkiye.

Noting that there are similar organizations in 33 countries across Europe, Güldü said that the projects supported under the program are significant not only for receiving grants but also for their successful implementation.
Mustafa Haşim Polat, TIKA’s Education Projects Coordinator, also noted that TIKA embodies the concept of a “civilization of endowments.”
Drawing attention to the fact that environmental issues affect all of humanity, Polat said, “We all breathe the same air, are affected by the same oceans, and are threatened by the same viruses. As we saw in the Hantavirus case, the world is actually very small—we are all in the same boat.”

Polat noted that TIKA had developed an educational model called “Turkuaz Yeşil Dönüşüm” and added that this initiative was being carried out in collaboration with Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University.
Polat invited the participants to follow the work being carried out by TIKA.

Following the program, certificates were awarded to the participants.
