German Energy Company RWE announced Monday that the company has strengthened its leadership team with former German minister of state Hildegard Muller taking on a role on the board of one of the group companies as part of upcoming restructuring activities.
According to the press release, Muller currently acts as Chairwoman of the General Executive Management Board and Member of the Executive Board of the German Association of Energy and Water Industries in Berlin - roles which she has undertaken since October 2008.
From May 1, she will join the RWE Group as part of the upcoming restructuring activities. The company will provide more details on this move at a later date.
From 2005 until 2008, she was Minister of State with the German Chancellor, with responsibility for Federal/State coordination of the German Federal Government and for reducing bureaucracy.
