Russian energy company Gazprom announced that due to the scheduled annual maintenance, there will be no natural gas shipments from the TurkStream natural gas pipeline.
Gazprom said that the scheduled annual maintenance of TurkStream will take place between June 21 and 28 and the gas flow via the pipeline will stop.
The company said the suspension during the maintenance operations had been agreed by all parties in advance.
The TurkStream natural gas pipeline has a total capacity of 31.5 bcm.
The first line with a capacity of 15.75 bcm is designated for supplies to Türkiye's domestic customers, and the second line, with another 15.75 bcm of capacity, carries Russian gas further to Europe through Bulgaria.
