The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 488.01 Turkish liras at 0 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), according to official figures released Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 0 liras between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0400-1400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Thursday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 117% to around 53 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 152.9 liras and 158.1 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 315.01 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 0 liras between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0200-1500 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.90 liras at 2.17 p.m. local time (1117 GMT) on Wednesday.
