The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 9 a.m., 6 p.m., and 7 p.m. local time (0600, 1500, 1600 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,578.89 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed a decrease of 2.82% to around 1.73 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,643.12 liras and 2,715.35 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1400, 1500 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,642.69 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.44 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
