Norway's total sales of petroleum products fell 16.2% to 548 million liters in November compared to the same month last year, according to Statistics Norway on Tuesday.
For gasoline sales, the statistics office said the volume decreased by 11.8% to 67 million liters.
Sales of diesel amounted to 232 million liters - a fall of 10 million liters compared to November last year.
The country's statistics authority has produced data collated from the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, the Norwegian Petroleum Institute and oil companies since 1973.
