Russian iron and steel company MMK's crude steel output increased by 2.5 percent in 2017 to 12.86 million tonnes compared to 2016, the company said on Thursday.
MMK also said that output fell by 0.9 percent in the last quarter of 2017 compared to the third quarter.
"Management expects that seasonality and scheduled maintenance of equipment will affect the first quarter results of 2018. At the same time, this factor is expected to be balanced by higher sales prices for finished products on the company’s domestic and export markets," MMK said.
