Türkiye to host media forum with China to boost communication cooperation

2 main panel sessions to focus on strategic partnership, AI, and tech in media cooperation

ANKARA

Türkiye’s Communications Directorate will host the Türkiye-China Media Forum in Ankara on Wednesday to strengthen bilateral media and communication cooperation and deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries.

According to a statement issued by the directorate on Tuesday, the forum aims to strengthen ties between Turkish and Chinese people through increased collaboration in the media sector.

Türkiye's Communications Director Fahrettin Altun and Chinese Ambassador to Ankara Jiang Xuebin are scheduled to deliver the opening remarks.

The forum will bring together media professionals, academics, and public officials from both countries.

The event will include two main panel sessions. The first, titled “Strategic Partnership in the New Global Communication Architecture: Türkiye–China,” will focus on collaboration in the context of shifting global communication dynamics.

The second session, “Artificial Intelligence and Innovative Technologies in Strategic Communication,” will examine how emerging technologies such as AI, big data, and digital infrastructure are shaping public diplomacy, media production, and information management.

Participants will also discuss potential areas of cooperation in media diplomacy, public outreach, cultural exchange, and digital transformation.
