MOSCOW

The Russian army captured another settlement in Ukraine, the Defense Ministry claimed on Sunday.

The village of Kovsharovka in the Kharkiv region went under control of the Russian forces, according to a ministry statement.

The defense service also claimed it struck a storage site for Flamingo cruise missiles, as well as aircraft equipment at military airfields in Ukraine.

Ukrainian authorities have not yet commented on Russia’s claim and independent verification the claim is difficult due to the ongoing war, which entered its fifth year last month.
