Military figures show 935 soldiers killed, 6,424 injured since October 2023

JERUSALEM / ISTANBUL

Ten Israeli soldiers have been killed and 309 others injured since the outbreak of war with Lebanon and Iran, the military said on Wednesday.

Military figures released by the army showed that 10 soldiers have been killed in southern Lebanon since March 2.

The figures also revealed that 309 soldiers have been wounded, including 23 seriously and 55 moderately, in the war with Iran since Feb. 28.

According to military figures, 935 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 6,424 injured since the start of the Gaza war in October 2023.

Regional escalation has continued to flare since the US and Israel launched a joint offensive on Iran on Feb. 28, so far killing over 1,340 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Tehran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, along with Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets.

Israel’s Health Ministry said that at least 6,286 people have been injured since the start of war with Iran.

While the ministry has not released official death tolls, Israel’s Institute for National Security Studies estimates that 29 people have been killed in the conflict.
