Group of satellites carried by Smart Dragon-3 rocket lifted off from waters in eastern province of Shandong

ISTANBUL

China has launched a new group of satellites into space from sea, state media reported on Monday.

A Smart Dragon-3 rocket was blasted into space on Sunday night off the eastern province of Shandong, carrying the satellite group CentiSpace 02 into its planned orbit.​​​​​​​

The launch was conducted by the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center from the sea near the city of Haiyang.
